The long-term goal of this foundation is to provide a field and a place to call home for the Eastside Banshees Rugby Football Club. We are driven to provide a location where amateur rugby and the development of all interested players can thrive. We welcome your time, talent, or treasure!
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to advance Minnesota amateur rugby through investment and inclusion. We are investing in the club’s health by supporting the annual operating budget, engaging in initiatives such as subsidized player travel for league matches, enhanced training, and further club development. In addition, we have the long-range dream to build a first-rate pitch that can be used and enjoyed by not only the Eastside Banshees rugby club, but also by youth and other amateur clubs in Minnesota.
We believe that a permanent home will foster a lasting community and connection between both current and past players. This will be a place to gather and enjoy the sport on Saturday afternoons, but also a place for alumni and current club members, families and friends to socialize, network, learn, and grow. We already have a groundswell of commitments, including a donor who has committed to covering land acquisition costs, but we are still in need of additional commitment and support to make this project sustainable for the Club. We need you!
